Those of you that have brought the deluxe edition will be treated with three extra bonus tracks, a couple of which are possibly stronger then the album tracks themselves, "Don't Know How To Stop" and "Hate It When You See Me Cry.

The nice mix of songs and the perfect production would make this a good album, but the singing ability of Lzzy Hale makes this a superb album. Remember that your satisfaction is our priority, and we are here to help you at every step of the way. One, two… one, two… one, two, three…” Arejay behind his drum paraphernalia sets the tone for “Love Bites (So Do I). So, if I didn’t already have a rock star crush on Lzzy, I totally would now ha ha, this album is one of my favourites of the year and I’m not sure what will come along that could topple it.

So suddenly this predicament with having this record that had a split personality was about having a split personality. We were on ‘ten,’ and we blew through the songs in a safe way – or as safe as something that goes, ‘I get off on you getting off on me’ can be. The bipolar tone and the singularity of Lzzy’s voice ( alto) cause our attention to wander between the instruments’ sharpness and the vocals’ turmoil. The album then gets right back in to heavy swing with Daughters of Darkness; a song partially inspired by the late great Ronnie James Dio and his song Fearfrom Black Sabbath’s The Devil You Know.

Hyde,” the singer wears the monster’s mask, and the song becomes a strong candidate for the album’s most apotheotic moment. Her voice can go from a belting roar down to soft beautiful, and she never misses a note in the process. Just as heavy as the previous song, but with a slower pace, it is sure to get heads banging almost instantly. When we finished ‘Love Bites,’ the engineer at Howard’s studio, Bay Seven, said, ‘I’m pretty sure that’s the fastest song we’ve ever done here. It’s a very catchy tune, not so much an alternative hard rock track, but more like a 70’s blues-based hard rock song.

A different version of the song "Here's to Us" featuring multiple guests including Slash was included as a bonus track on the reissue version of the standard and deluxe version of the album in 2013. Please note that specific regulations and details may vary based on your location and the applicable laws. What I love with this album is the balance of tracks, ‘In Your Room’ steps in between big rocker and ballad and gives us a great middle of the road rock song and then ‘Break In’ is a purely piano driven ballad once again allowing Lzzy to belt it out, I mean how good is this lyric “Put your lighter in the air and lead me back home…” Moving back to the guitars, we get ‘Rock Show’ a story all about what we know and love. Whether you like the show or hate it, whether you like the fact the song was featured on the show or not, it broadened the bands fan base substantially almost overnight. She and her band mates also crafted heavier numbers, including "I Miss The Misery," with its start-stop chorus rhythm and confrontational lyrics and “Rock Show,” which blazes with euphoric vocals and motivational riffs.
